Graphics processing software

Pavo ensures authors’ original graphics files can be used without incurring additional handling costs, and enables lead times to be slashed while improving quality.

Automatic image extraction

Authors often embed charts and diagrams in their documents.  Pavo automatically extracts and processes these file into agreed standard formats, retaining the placement instructions in the source document.

Automatic text correction

Pavo ensures consistency of the textual contents of graphics by applying the Merops text-processing rules. This is particularly well suited to place names, dates, units and numbers and subject-specific terms.

Raster graphics standardization

Pavo converts bitmap images into high-resolution TIFF for print, and GIF, PNG or JPG for online.

Vector graphics standardization

Pavo converts charts, graphs and other vector images into EPS for print, and SVG – an XML standard – for online publication.
