Reprocessing part of a document

If Merops makes a minor error, it's usually easiest to correct it by doing one or a combination of the following:

Sometimes however, when Merops misidentifies a larger piece of text, like a whole reference paragraph, you may be better off reprocessing that individual paragraph. If you can see why Merops hasn't identified something (perhaps, say, because the author has misspelled the 'Correspondence information' heading), you can reprocess the selection, without having to reprocess the whole file:

  1. Select the paragraph(s) you want to reprocess.
  2. Right click, and click Revert Selection button Revert Selection.
  3. Correct the spelling error, or other reason for Merops's misidentification.
  4. Select the paragraph(s) again.
  5. Click Process Selection button Process Selection on the Merops: Reviewing tab.
  6. Merops will now process the selection, without leaving the document.

Note: Merops will process the selection using the document Standard Set.

If this still doesn't work, see Troubleshooting.
