Hello Everyone,

I am writing to let you know that I have stepped down as Managing Director of Shabash, and I am delighted to announce the confirmation of Joe Steinhardt as the new CEO.

Joe and I have worked closely together since the company’s earliest days, and in recent years I’ve considered him to be my right-hand man. He has been a critical part of the management of the company, and I am confident that now is the right time for him to take the reins. There’s no one else I would want to take on this responsibility and I hope you will all join me in wishing him the very best for the future.

A company is only as good as its team and I have been fortunate to have an excellent team around me over the last nineteen years, several of whom have been with Shabash nearly as long as I have. I want to thank all of them for the work they have done so far, and I look forward with anticipation to the developments still to come.

As Founding Director, I will continue to have a background role supporting Joe and the team but am hoping to have some time to pursue some of my other passions.

Best wishes to you all,

Martin

Hi Everyone!

It’s a great honour and privilege to be entrusted as the new CEO of Shabash. I want to thank Martin for all his hard work and for giving me this fantastic opportunity.

I joined Shabash back in 2003. At the time, our software, Merops, was little more than a proof of concept, with almost no user interface, and no customization. I worked hard with my head down and got to know the software inside out. Gradually, I lifted my head, took on responsibilities, and made redesigns. Now, my sights are on the horizon, and the future of our company.

I have a strong vision for Shabash. I have no doubt that the best way for Shabash to be successful, is for our clients to be successful. The best way to get people using our software, is to make great software. We will develop our three brands, Thrix, Transform My Document, and Merops, to complement each other across a broad market, from students, through authors and copy editors, to publishing companies and service providers.

Shabash would be nothing without our team, and I want to thank them for their incredible work so far, and for their spectacular loyalty and commitment. I can’t wait to get started and take Shabash to the next level.

Here’s to the future!

Joe
