New features and enhancements
- NEW PREFERENCE: COVID-19 | Covid-19 | make consistent
- NEW PREFERENCE: Developing World/Third World: third world
- NEW PREFERENCE: Keywords heading: Index terms
- NEW PREFERENCE: Intra-document hyperlinks from document object
citations to document
objects: delete
- NEW PREFERENCE: Add intra-document links from citations to reference
list: delete
Better default settings for new features
- Hyperlinks on general text are now preserved by default
- Better default behaviour for new settings not yet on user interface:
- Punctuation before book, in a chapter reference
- Source title in a report or thesis reference
- Delete/preserve section breaks
Better recognition
- Better cross-checking of both numeric and author-date references
- Better recognition throughout the document, particularly:
- references
- author by-line
- Consistent matching of style/paragraph tags, regardless of settings
This is a Merops Cloud update – no download is necessary.
The update also includes hundreds of other improvements and fixes.
